The NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) issued updated guidance on essential and non-essential construcion on April 15. Public and private school construction projects are now deemed essential, and Marymount's building project was confirmed as essential by the DOB on April 23. To facilitate the start of work under the current guidelines, contractors will follow safety protocols for social distancing onsite, augmented PPE, additional cleaning of surfaces, etc.
To Our Neighbors: We are happy to report that the major rock chopping phase of our construction project has now been completed. We know how disruptive and difficult this phase of construction has been, and we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding over the last few months. Minor rock trimming may occur over the next two weeks, using a smaller machine, which will be less constant and less noisy. Thank you again for your continued support.
