Construction Updates
The NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) issued updated guidance on essential and non-essential construcion on April 15. Public and private school construction projects are now deemed essential, and Marymount's building project was confirmed as essential by the DOB on April 23. To facilitate the start of work under the current guidelines, contractors will follow safety protocols for social distancing onsite, augmented PPE, additional cleaning of surfaces, etc.

Crane Use Notice: Please be advised starting the week of May 3, 2021, the superstructure work will require mobile crane use 2 to 3 days a week, weather permitting, on both 97th street and 98th street. In accordance with the approved DOT regulations, on crane days the roadway will be closed from 9AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday, and 9AM to 4PM on Saturday. Our subcontractor will post the requisite signage alerting the neighbors of the street closures. Please note this superstructure phase is though October 2021.

New York Department of Building standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Exact timing of construction schedule is dependent upon weather conditions and may be subject to change.
